Widescreen Format
The wide screen format with its 16:10 aspect ratio offers more
horizontal viewing space than conventional monitors. Two applications
such as a text document and web browser can be viewed side-by-side, or
graphics applications can be opened and work palettes displayed
simultaneously without any overlap. |
3000:1 Contrast Ratio with ContrastEnhancer
In dark images, the ContrastEnhancer decreases luminance of the
backlight to eliminate oversaturated whites and then raises gain levels
to restore brightness, while in bright images it corrects the gamma
levels by decreasing luminance in low grayscale tones. |
Sharper Images with OutlineEnhancer
The OutlineEnhancer is a filter to sharpen images and offers seven
levels of adjustment to give still and moving images a degree of
sharpness that otherwise would not be visible. |
6 ms Midtone Response Time
To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is
included. Used with many LCD TVs, an overdrive circuit vastly improves
the LCD panel’s response time for changing between midtones or gray
levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring.

Supports 1080p high definition digital signal for a display resolution
of 1920 × 1080 (16:9 aspect ratio) without stretching the pixels

Design

with color vision deficiency, care must be taken when choosing color
schemes for everyday items such as maps, road signs, web sites, and
power indicator lights. A new user-oriented design system called “Color
Universal Design” (CUD) has been developed to resolve this issue. |
Protanopia and Deuteranopia Simulation in Real Time
Simulates* two types of red-green color
vision deficiency – protanopia and deuteranopia. The FlexScan S2411W
does all the color conversion processing in real time – even moving

ArcSwing 2 Stand
This EIZO-developed stand provides an arc-shaped range of movement so
the screen can be positioned up high near eye level or lowered at an
angle akin to reading a book for a more natural viewing posture. |

Fine Contrast
A one-touch button on the front panel accesses five specialized image
adjustment modes: Text, Picture, Movie, Custom and sRGB, each with its

14-Bit Color Processing
EIZO's powerful new ASIC (application specific integrated circuit)
provides 14-bit color processing capability for smooth, accurate
grayscale and color rendering even in darker tones, which are typically
difficult for LCD monitors to reproduce accurately. |
Brightness Stabilization Function
Ensures stable brightness - necessary for the proper display of color -
with EIZO patented technology*. A drift correction sensor quickly
stabilizes the brightness level after startup or coming out of power
saving mode. Furthermore, the monitor detects and automatically
compensates for brightness changes caused by surrounding temperatures
